Self-taught, Varda Haimo started Bread Obsession in her home kitchen. Today, she and her team are known for making some of the best baguettes in Boston. They use time-honored methods that enhance flavor and healthfulness, and because the loaves are shaped by hand, no two are quite the same. In addition to the baguettes, the bread selection also includes multigrain sunflower, ciabatta, and flaxseed rye. The shop opens Tuesday through Saturday at 8:00 a.m.
