What began as a food truck now boasts brick-and-mortar locations. The Scoop N Scootery is where you find innovative sundaes, and the menu stays fresh and exciting. Don't miss sampling The Garland. It includes campfire s'mores ice cream covered with fudge, marshmallow fluff, frosted rice crispy treats, and other tasty toppings.

J.P. Licks

Vince Petryk began his career in ice cream after graduating from Temple University. He took a job as a dishwasher at an ice cream shop in Philadelphia. He thought it would be temporary. But he became a scooper and an ice cream maker before being promoted to manager. Eventually, Vince decided to open J.P. Licks in Boston's Jamaica Plain neighborhood. Over the last 30 years, the shop has won several "Best Of" awards and was named the 2006 "small business of the year" by the Greater Boston Chamber of Commerce. On the menu, you'll find a delicious peanut butter cup sundae. It features vanilla ice cream topped with whipped cream, hot fudge, peanut butter sauce, and a Reese's peanut butter cup.

Lizzy's

When Nick Pappas decided to leave his job as a digital manager, he worked on creating the tastiest ice cream around. Soon, Lizzy's was born. The shop quickly became popular, and it drew locals and visitors alike. Today, the Waltham location is owned by Miriam Benitez. She started working at the shop in high school and carries on Nick's tradition of offering unique flavors and the tastiest sundaes. Sundae offerings include brownies, hot fudge, and strawberry shortcake.
